Park Safety - Funfields Themepark

Safety at Funfields

Safety is at the heart of everything we do at Funfields. Our team of experts work hard behind the scenes to make sure you are safe every step of the way.

Park Safety

Even in areas with lifeguards, you are responsible for your children and must watch them when they’re in the water and be ready to dive in if your child needs help.

If you are pregnant, have a neck, heart or back condition, or any other condition you think might be impacted by taking part in our attractions, do not participate unless you’ve got the all clear from your doctor.

Each attraction has its own safety guidelines and some of them have rules around what you need to wear or do to stay safe. Every attraction has a sign out front with the specifics, and you can also view each rides individual safety requirements on their respective attraction pages.

First aid

Many of our crew have first aid training. If you need help on the day, you can head to our main First Aid area at Guest Services, or our secondary First Aid area next to the Volcano Beach toilets.

Water Safety

We are a Watch Around Water Accredited Facility, which you can learn more about here.

Lifeguards are not babysitters — Your child, your responsibility.

At all times whilst in the water areas at Funfields, follow the supervision rules.

0–5 years — Children aged 0-5 are required to have an adult directly supervising within arm’s reach of them at all times.
6–10 years — Children aged 6-10 are required to have an adult actively supervising them within line of sight, who is ready to enter the water at all times.
11–14 years — Children aged 11-14 are required to have an adult regularly checking their whereabouts.
