Funfields has waterslides and land rides that are off the scale on the thrill-o-meter, as well as very gentle toddler water playgrounds, paddle pools, ferris wheels and carousels, and everything in between.

We get this question every so often, and we sometimes ask it ourselves. We started as an amusement park with land-based rides, and in the past two decades we have expanded into a waterpark with some of the most incredible racing waterslides in Australia that have also won records on the world stage – pretty good for a waterpark near Melbourne.
As we celebrate our 40th season, we launch our regions around distinctive themes, which puts us firmly in themepark territory. Our official name is Funfields Themepark, so there’s the easy answer. But we are also very proud to be known as Melbourne’s best waterpark.
Or maybe you could call us a fun park – because we have no doubt that’s what you’ll have lots of when you’re here at Funfields!
We don’t offer a Family Pass. Prices are based on the individual height of each guest (as this determines how many rides and waterslides they can go on).
You can book one of our private function areas that are set up as perfect kids birthday party venues, or you can also arrange your own set up for smaller kids parties, with a Reserved Table or VIP Day Bed. For bigger kids parties you could grab a Bulk Pass.
Our team would love to talk to you about kids birthday party ideas.
For land-based rides for younger kids, head to Mystic Kingdom, and for the waterplay area go to Amazonia Falls, where there’s one section for toddlers and a separate one for bigger kids.
If you’re seeking an adrenaline hit with your waterslides, head to Thrill Hill where you can defy gravity or race your friends on Kraken Racer. For high speed on land, race to Velocity Valley for bumper cars and the racing alpine toboggan slide.
