National Waterslide Day
Thursday 6 February
We’re making a splash and calling it official.
On Thursday 6 February, Funfields Themepark celebrates the very first National Waterslide Day — a day dedicated to watersliding!
Same Day Pass pricing. Free for Season Pass holders.
What it’s all about
National Waterslide Day is about celebrating waterslides, plain and simple.
It’s a chance to spend the day racing, splashing and making the most of Funfields’ waterslides, with extra challenges and activities designed to help you lean all the way into the fun.
The Kraken Racer challenge
Think you’ve got the speed?
All day long, we’ll be timing rides down Kraken Racer, our high-speed racing waterslide. If you’re one of the fastest riders of the day, our crew will collect your details and track the leaderboard.
The fastest rider by the end of the day wins:
a Season Pass for the following season.
One slide. One clock. One very slippery shot at glory.
Waterslide challenges
It’s not just about speed.
Throughout the day, take on waterslide-themed challenges designed to help you make the most of every splash — including a challenge to ride them all.
Because if you’re dedicating a day to watersliding, you might as well commit properly.

If you want some warm up time, check out Origin Springs for our splashdown waterslides, or the heated wave pool and lazy river at Paradise Palms.

Yes! Our Day Pass is an all-day access-all-areas pass so you can explore all our slides and rides.
This includes everything from epic giant waterslides, kids waterslides and waterplay areas, and a heated wave pool, to our land-based rides with all the classics like dodgem cars, the pirate ship ride, ferris wheels and kids carousel.
We do have height restrictions on some of our rides and waterslides which are listed on the attraction pages.
You’ll need to leave hats and glasses behind on some of our faster-moving attractions.
On each attraction page the clothing requirements are listed.
