40 years of dedication
It’s been a fast-moving ride since we launched the Alpine Toboggan Slide more than 40 years ago. We’ve brought the European tradition of family-owned theme parks to Melbourne and created what is now an award-winning theme park that has become a staple on the must-visit summer lists.

We bring our Italian family work ethic of love, sweat and tears to the park, along with the warm and generous hospitality we’ve been brought up with. It’s an intrinsic value of ours to create the best experience we can for the families that visit us. Our local guests and global industry leaders have told us it’s these elements that make Funfields® an experience like no other in Australia.
Over the years, we’ve travelled the theme park world and brought the most celebrated stand-out slides and rides to Funfields. We have gravity-defying and world-recording-taking water slides, heated tropical waters in our long lazy river and wave pool, as well as a magical world of waterplay for younger kids, and all the fun park classics on dry land. We’ve also brought an imaginative twist, inventing and combining features in novel ways to create experiences you won’t find anywhere else.

Family-owned and operated
Our family members have dedicated decades to building Funfields into what it is today, with many generations of our family joining the business. Our loudest and proudest 89-year-old founding father still tends the lawns on his ride-on mower and wears his Funfields T-shirt when he visits the Whittlesea shops.
We’ve woven our way into many people’s lives since we first opened our entrance gates. We’ve had the same team of designers and builders since day one. We’ve given local kids their first jobs and brought waves of family-centred tourism to the area.

We have many guests who’ve visited us almost every season since the start, and we love it when people notice the new features we’ve added from season to season. We put a huge amount of thought and care into even the smallest details.
